I can’t believe that another weekend is here already. My how time flies especially when a person is filled with the joy of the Holy Spirit. See y’all on Monday.
It’s national mutt’s day! This is my rescue dog, Carter. A friend of mine rescued this dog about five years ago from a rest area in Ohio. He is a truck driver and didn’t want to take Carter on the road with him so he gave Carter to me. To make a long story short. What a blessing from God he, the dog not the truck driver, is to me.
Carter is well trained and intelligent. He never goes to the restroom indoors and I never have to put him on a leash. He stays right with me on the sidewalk and comes to me when I call him. He is very loving to all people and likes to snuggle. He’s part Jack Russell and part Chihuahua. Carter will be eight years old in September.
Everyone have a safe and blessed weekend. I won’t be on the computer again until Monday afternoon because I have to use a public computer and the lab is closed on the weekends. I’m so poor that I can’t afford a computer of my own. I am trying to save up $100 on Amazon so that I can buy a tablet. Maybe by Christmas. I need one so I can start on my writing career.
This seems to be mostly true in my life. I’ve been through many trials and temptations. I’ve even turn my back on God from time to time, but because of His grace and mercy I’ve never given up hope and have always returned to the sheepfold like the prodigal son. Doesn’t that face just causes you to be joyful? But, true joy comes from the Lord.
Have a great and blessed weekend everyone!
My favorite month of the year. Celebrating the birth of my Savior. Looking forward to a very productive 2017. So much to do I hardly know where to begin. Pray for me and our country. I just turned 60 and am unemployed and broke but am blessed with many spiritual gifts that I know that I can use for the glory of the kingdom of God. I am praying that the Lord will open doors of opportunity for me to serve Him. Any suggestions will be appreciated.
